It took two minutes for Google to announce a revolutionary new way for OEMs to update their devices. The PDK gives manufacturers access to the newest builds of android two to three months in advance to help keep devices up to date (less than 20% of android devices run ICS). Google said there are a “few partners” that have already started using the PDK. Asus is probably one and I wouldn’t be surprised if their devices get Jelly Bean the week it’s released.
